OUR STORY
MODADO was founded by my mother and me. I have always loved wearing similar outfits or similar colors as my daughter. And seriously, is there anything more adorable than matching Mommy-Daughter dresses? Yes, matching dresses for their dolls too. That's how the idea of MODADO started.

Our main idea was to create matching dresses for MOthers, DAughters and DOlls. That's why the brand is called "MODADO". Of course you don't need to be a mother to wear our beautiful dresses and, certainly, you don't need to match with anybody as well.
Thanks to my mother, who is a qualified dressmaker, we started tailoring the most convenient, timeless and simple dress with beautiful Thai fabrics. In Thailand these types of patterns are worn as sarongs. MODADO combines modern design with traditional Thai fabrics.

This dress is my personal favorite and go-to dress all year round and even more important, it has also become my daughters favorite dress.
All dresses are handmade in Switzerland with much care.

OUR BRAND
As for now, we provide one dress design only. It is a shirred dress and has a classic and convenient shape which will never be out of fashion. You can wear it at any time of year and style it with your favorite footwear such as flip flops, sneakers, high heels, boots, etc.
This perfect dress comes in various traditional Thai fabrics. You can either choose the same color to match with your loved ones or mix and match the different patterns. Both looks are eye-catching und stunning.

Our dress is very stretchy, flexibel and comfortable. It can be worn throughout pregnancy without it being worn out afterwards.
Due to Covid-19 we also provide handmade face masks to match the dresses.
